The design for Alila Lansdowne creates a narrative-driven dining experience inspired by its military past as the home of the Garhwal Rifles, reimagined as a rediscovered relic. Original Koti Banal architecture, stone and timber, is layered with refined contemporary elements, preserving authenticity. Distinct zones such as The Armory, Barracks, and Diplomat, along with outdoor spaces like The Overlook and Aerie, shape a seamless spatial journey. The result is a nostalgic yet sophisticated destination, blending heritage, materiality, and storytelling into a refined dining experience.
