About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead and deliver interior design projects from initial concept through to final implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality and F&B design experience, excellent design sensibility, and the ability to manage projects independently while supporting the Design Director in maintaining Vettink’s design standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept development through construction and final implementation, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with project goals.
- Support the Design Director in reviewing projects and maintaining Vettink’s design standards and creative direction.
- Translate client briefs into clear design concepts, strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead the development of design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, sample boards, and concept visuals for client approval.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation for tender, construction, and execution phases.
- Produce high-quality sketches, drawings, and technical plans using CAD and hand-drawing techniques.
- Develop spatial layouts and design elements that align with project narratives, brand identity, and guest experience.
- Source and specify appropriate materials, products, furniture, fixtures, and finishes, balancing aesthetic, functional, and budget requirements.
- Conduct site visits and supervise implementation to ensure the design intent is executed to the required standard.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback to maintain design quality and support professional development.
- Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and workflows, proactively identifying and resolving design or project issues.
- Stay up to date with hospitality design trends, materials, technologies, and industry innovations.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, marketing, branding, and other cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive design solutions.
- Participate in international business travel, including project site visits, supplier meetings, and design research across different markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates of Thai nationality.
- Minimum 7–8 years of professional Interior Design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful hospitality and F&B projects.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in restaurants, bars, hotels, resorts, lifestyle venues, or other hospitality environments.
- Proven ability to manage projects across multiple design phases, from concept development through construction completion.
- Strong understanding of hospitality design, guest experience, spatial planning, materials, finishes, FF&E, and construction detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, hand sketching, and 3D modelling/visualization software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, design sensibility, and spatial awareness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and client-facing abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative, flexible, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in both English and Thai, written and spoken – mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to travel independently for international projects, site visits, supplier meetings, and design research.

Pay range and compensation package
Competitive salary based on THB 60K ++ base on experience, qualifications, and portfolio.
