The Junior Interior Designer acts as the SOHO Hospitality team supporting the Designer in creating designs and delivering presentations based on deliverables outlined in the contract and SOHO Hospitality Standards. Tasks may include, but not limited to, developing designs, 3D modeling, elevation renderings, mood board creation, CAD drawings, image research, materials, and furniture sourcing, etc.

- Proven industry experience with common industry software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling applications, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Handsketch, and Microsoft Office, Spexx specification writing software a plus, and other job-related duties as assigned
- Experience using SketchUp and Photoshop is required.
- Strong writing skills (narratives, strategy, meeting minutes, proposals, etc.)
- Work closely with your design team and studio at large, to promote a culture of design excellence and creativity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively on multiple projects at once
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior design, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of interior design experience (hospitality & F&B)
- Strong design skills, sketching, layout, drafting & 3D modeling skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical skills and Communication skills
- Creativity flexibility, and the ability to work in a team environment
- Time-management skills and deadline-oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively on multiple projects at once
