Soho Hospitality is looking for a visionary Design Director to lead the creative direction of our restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and lifestyle venues.
About the Role
We’re looking for a strong Interior Design leader with 10+ years of experience, preferably from a hospitality & F&B background, with a portfolio that demonstrates creativity, commercial awareness, and exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of high-end, premium, luxury, or lifestyle hospitality projects, from concept development through construction and completion.
- Manage and mentor a team of interior designers, architects, and creative professionals.
- Demonstrate hospitality and F&B design expertise, creativity, commercial awareness, and the ability to develop distinctive concepts.
- Work directly with F&B operators, hospitality brands, developers, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including project timelines, budgets, resources, and design quality.
- Utilize strong knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, construction processes, and technical design requirements.
- Communicate effectively with excellent presentation, negotiation, and client-management skills.
- Apply strong design thinking, creative problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative hospitality environment and manage projects under tight deadlines.
- Incorporate knowledge of sustainable design principles and emerging design technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in interior design, with significant experience in hospitality and F&B environments.
- Strong preference for candidates with a proven track record in restaurants, bars, nightclubs, hotels, resorts, lifestyle venues, or other hospitality projects.

- Experience with emerging technologies such as VR/AR, 3D visualization, or AI-assisted design tools
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how design contributes to business performance
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: THB 160,000–200,000/month (approximately USD 59,000–74,000/year), depending on experience and qualifications. Leadership capabilities and portfolio. We'll determine the final compensation package based on the candidate's relevant hospitality/F&B experience, seniority, portfolio, and overall suitability for the role.
