The Night Auditor is responsible for managing front desk operations during the night shift while ensuring accurate daily financial reconciliation. Responsibilities
- Night Operations
- Manage front desk and guest services during the night shift.
- Check in and check out guests and handle reservations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
- Monitor the hotel premises and report any unusual activities or incidents.
- Coordinate with security, housekeeping, and other departments when required.
- Handle emergency situations according to hotel procedures.
- Night Audit & Financial Responsibilities
- Perform the daily night audit and close the hotel’s financial transactions.
- Verify room charges, payments, discounts, refunds, and other transactions.
- Reconcile cash, credit card, online payment, and other payment records.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies and report them to the appropriate manager.
- Prepare daily revenue and occupancy reports.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and properly documented.
- Guest Service
- Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude toward guests throughout the night.
- Assist guests with transportation, room requests, wake-up calls, and other overnight services.
- Handle late arrivals, early departures, and special guest requests.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and follow hotel privacy policies.
- Administrative Duties
- Complete the night audit checklist and required operational reports.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, guest requests, and financial transactions.
- Prepare handover information for the morning shift.
- Ensure all front office procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, Reception, or a similar hotel role is preferred.
- Experience with hotel PMS and POS systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reconciliation.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
- Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.

Working Hours
Primarily responsible for the overnight shift, with working hours and shift schedules based on the property's operational requirements.
