About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MICE Sales Manager to drive event sales at APT 101. This role requires a proactive sales professional with a strong industry network and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to attract MICE clients, including corporations, associations, event agencies, and PCOs (Professional Conference Organizers).
- Identify new business opportunities, build long-term partnerships, conduct sales meetings, presentations, and site inspections with potential clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Serve as the primary contact for MICE clients, ensuring a seamless planning and execution process to collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality events.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of corporate and large-scale events.
- Represent APT 101 at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to drive MICE business and maintain a strong presence in the MICE industry through networking and relationship-building.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for corporate and MICE clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine sales strategies and maintain an accurate pipeline of sales activities and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in MICE, event, hospitality, or venue sales
• Strong corporate and agency network within the MICE industry
• Proven sales and business development experience
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Thai & English)
• Organized, proactive, and results-driven
• Experience with proposals, contracts, and CRM systems
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible with event hours
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with luxury hospitality brands, lifestyle venues, or large-scale event spaces.
- Existing network within Bangkok’s corporate, hospitality, and MICE industry.
- Knowledge of event operations, banquet planning, and venue management.
- Experience coordinating conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and corporate functions.
- Strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis within the MICE industry.
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships.
- Creative thinking with the ability to customize event solutions for clients.
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams on B2B campaigns and lead generation activities.
- Familiarity with budgeting, revenue forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Passion for hospitality, events, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
